Model interpretation with Python

Model interpretation is a crucial step in understanding how a machine learning model makes predictions. One popular method for interpreting models is using SHAP values, which help us understand the impact of each feature on the model's output. First, we need to install the SHAP library in Python by using the following code:
pip install shap

Next, we can load a pre-trained model and dataset to explain its predictions. Let's assume we have a trained model called model and a dataset called X_test .
import shap

explainer = shap.Explainer(model)
shap_values = explainer(X_test)

Now, we can visualize the SHAP values to understand the feature importance using a summary plot.
shap.summary_plot(shap_values, X_test)

By following these steps, we can gain valuable insights into our model's behavior and improve its interpretability.
